Mowgli Foundation welcomes ADEW Egypt
Those of you who have been reading the blog for a while now may well remember me talking about a very unstructured piece of research I undertook a few months back. I had a look at a number of organisations based in the Middle East that the Mowgli Foundation were especially interested in building relationships with. The idea was to use social media to see if we could build a relationship with them. Only one stood out, and that was ADEW Egypt which is an organisation that is dedicated the empowerment of Arab women.
Well, after starting the relationship online via Twitter primarily, I am really pleased to let you know that discussions are going really well and both organisations are looking forward to working together more closely in the future and to campaigning to reduce poverty in Egypt. As the most recent Twitter comment said:
@MowgliTweets We are excited about working with you! Hopefully we can alleviate #poverty together in #Egypt
Now you can’t say fairer than that and we too are really looking forward to working with the really committed and enthusiastic team behind ADEW. Oh! and by the way ADEW stands for The Association for the Development and Enhancement of Women
